M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions)

Providing advice on mergers and acquisitions is one of the core fields of our practice. We have provided legal services to foreign investors and multinational companies in relation to diverse transactions involving the acquisition and sale of shares, businesses, and other assets. We also regularly advise our clients on company mergers and the establishment of joint ventures. We provide consulting services to clients on both the buyer and seller side, in local Slovak transactions as well as cross-border and large multijurisdictional transactions.

Our clients have also relied on our legal advice for privatisation transactions focused on the acquisition of majority shareholdings in large companies in Slovakia, including the two biggest international airports, the monopoly telecommunications operator, and the largest Slovak banks.

“They are very well connected and are always able to provide us with good, robust advice. We are always satisfied.” A client states for Chambers Europe.

“We appreciated their speed of execution combined with high-quality results”. A client states for Chambers Europe.

According to the recent edition of IFLR1000 (reputable international legal ranking focused on financial and corporate transactions) we are ranked among Top Tier (Tier 1) law firms in the field of M&A. Also, together with our corporate and commercial practice, our M&A practice has repeatedly over the past years received top tier rankings by Legal 500 (currently: Tier 2), and is also very well recommended by Chambers and Partners.
